Dr. Raj Sankar is a disruptive healthcare entrepreneur, physician, and healthcare strategy leader redefining innovation across clinical operations, digital health, and healthcare business models. As Founder and CEO of Dr. Sankar Health Ventures, she leads multiple initiatives that advise and scale healthcare startups and SMBs through care delivery optimization, operational redesign, and revenue growth strategies. Her work integrates clinical insight with business execution, enabling organizations to build scalable, value-based models that improve both patient outcomes and financial performance.

Trained in Internal Medicine with a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of New Haven and an MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India, Dr. Sankar brings a dual perspective of physician and operator. Rather than pursuing a traditional long-term clinical pathway, she launched and scaled a home health agency that achieved profitability within 10 months. This milestone became a turning point, leading her to pivot fully into healthcare innovation and startup development. Today, she manages 8–9 concurrent healthcare projects spanning startups, advisory engagements, and growth-stage initiatives, including co-founding Vero GME, an ERAS and residency matching support platform for international medical graduates, and working with EboxChain, a healthcare logistics company positioning itself as a “FedEx for healthcare” with growing enterprise partnerships.

Beyond her core ventures, Dr. Sankar has contributed to a diverse portfolio of healthcare innovation initiatives, including the commercialization of a handless nebulizer patent, advisory work with longevity clinics, and early-stage development in short-sequence RNA technology aimed at rapid sepsis detection. She is also engaged in neuroplasticity research initiatives in India and serves as a business advisor and partner with Tulu Health. As a thought leader, she hosts weekly podcasts such as Business Breakthrough Thought Leadership and Take 52, where she interviews healthcare innovators and founders. Driven by impact rather than financial motivation, Dr. Sankar identifies as a systems thinker and problem solver committed to transforming healthcare through scalable, disruptive, and patient-centered innovation.
