Rabia Hassan, LADC

Rabia Hassan is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) specializing in addiction counseling and crisis intervention. She is currently a counselor at Hazelden Betty Ford, where she provides support across multiple treatment units, assisting individuals with a wide range of substance use and recovery needs. In her role, she delivers compassionate, client-centered care while adapting to diverse clinical settings and patient populations.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Addiction Counseling from Metro State University in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. During her academic journey, she also served as Vice President of the Student Addiction Council, reflecting her early commitment to advocacy, leadership, and supporting individuals affected by substance use disorders. She is currently furthering her education by pursuing a master’s degree at Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School.

Rabia brings both professional training and lived experience to her counseling practice. As someone in long-term recovery herself, she offers a unique perspective rooted in empathy, understanding, and authenticity. This personal connection strengthens her ability to support clients through the challenges of recovery while fostering hope and resilience.
