Mary Jackson, LPN, MA, CCHC

Mary Jackson, LPN, MA, CCHC is a Licensed Practical Nurse, Clinical Instructor, and Certified Community Health Consultant with extensive experience in both military and civilian healthcare settings. Her career is defined by compassion, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to serving others. Currently, she serves at Circle Center Adult Day Services in Richmond, VA, where she provides specialized care for participants living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and brain injuries, ensuring each individual receives attentive and dignified support while fostering a welcoming and trusting environment.

Jackson’s professional journey spans a breadth of clinical and leadership roles. She previously served as a Correctional LPN in juvenile and adult facilities, worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and held instructional roles training aspiring Nursing Assistants. A proud military veteran, she served in major operations including Desert Storm and the Bosnian conflict, caring for service members with courage and precision. Her experience also includes leadership positions on CERT and SHIELD teams, where she managed complex situations with professionalism and composure.

Holding an Associate degree in Medical Assisting, along with certifications including Certified Community Health Consultant (CCHC) and CPR instruction, Jackson is deeply committed to advancing nursing education and patient care. Inspired by her grandfather’s selfless example, she approaches nursing as a calling, with a particular passion for supporting individuals with cognitive impairments. Outside of her professional life, she embraces adventure and creativity through hobbies such as cars, motorcycles, bull riding, and baking, reflecting the same resilience and curiosity that define her career.
