Lyrisa Sanchez, FNP-BC

Lyrisa Sanchez is a dedicated and highly accomplished Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in primary care, emergency medicine, and nursing leadership. Based in Santa Rosa, she has built a distinguished healthcare career spanning more than two decades, progressing from Certified Nursing Assistant to Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, and ultimately Family Nurse Practitioner. Known for her compassionate approach and commitment to evidence-based care, Lyrisa is passionate about improving health outcomes for patients across diverse and rural communities.

Lyrisa earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Walden University in 2022, graduating summa cum laude. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aspen University, an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Luna Community College, and certifications as both a Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Nursing Assistant. Her educational journey reflects her dedication to academic excellence, professional growth, and lifelong learning in the healthcare field.

Currently serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Meadow City Family Clinic, Lyrisa provides comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages. Her expertise includes chronic disease management, preventive healthcare, women’s health services, telehealth consultations, and minor surgical procedures. She is recognized for her ability to develop individualized treatment plans, conduct comprehensive health assessments, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and improved outcomes.

In addition to her primary care role, Lyrisa has extensive experience in emergency medicine and healthcare administration. She previously worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Room at Guadalupe County Hospital, where she delivered urgent and emergency care for patients with acute medical conditions. She also served as Director of Nurses and Nurse Practitioner at Sunrise Clinics, overseeing nursing operations across multiple clinics while helping implement advanced electronic health record systems and enhancing patient care services. Her broad clinical expertise includes wound care, respiratory care, women’s health, laboratory diagnostics, IV therapy, immunizations, and preventive health screenings.

Throughout her career, Lyrisa has remained actively involved in professional organizations and community health initiatives. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association, and has been recognized by the National Society of Leadership and Success for her academic and leadership achievements.
