Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is that I have been able to return to the profession I have always loved after many years away. I consider this a meaningful personal achievement, as I remained committed to my original path in medicine. From early on, I was drawn to the idea of saving lives and was especially inspired by my uncle, who was a cardiologist and saved many patients through his work. I find great fulfillment in both simple and meaningful acts of care. I also value being able to help not only my patients, but sometimes their families and friends who seek medical guidance from me outside of the clinical setting. I am especially fulfilled when I am able to identify conditions early, prevent complications, and see patients recover well and feel satisfied with their care.
