Lisa Campbell, DPT
Lisa Campbell is an experienced Physical Therapist currently practicing with Choice Home Health in the Greater Texarkana Area. With more than two decades of experience in the physical therapy field, she has built a strong career in orthopedics, rehabilitation, and healthcare leadership across hospital, outpatient, and home health settings. Lisa earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Francisco State University. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in patient-centered rehabilitation care while contributing to both clinical and administrative roles in healthcare organizations. Lisa began her journey in physical therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2001, a role that shaped her passion for helping patients regain mobility and independence. She became a licensed Physical Therapist in 2009 and has since worked in a variety of clinical environments, including CHRISTUS Health, HealthCARE Express, AxiomHealth Management, and VitalCaring. During her tenure at CHRISTUS Health, she also served in leadership roles and contributed to multidisciplinary cancer rehabilitation teams, helping coordinate timely and specialized care for patients with complex needs. In addition to her clinical work, she has served as an adjunct instructor for physical therapist assistant programs, teaching subjects such as pathophysiology, therapeutic exercise, and neuroscience. Lisa’s professional approach is deeply influenced by her personal background and commitment to resilience in healthcare. Inspired by her mother’s experience as a physical therapist assistant despite visual impairment, Lisa developed a strong appreciation for perseverance and compassionate care. She is certified in lymphedema therapy, wound care, and dry needling, and incorporates manual therapy and evidence-based techniques into her practice. Now working in home health, she provides individualized care to patients across diverse diagnoses and age groups, traveling to support their recovery in real-world environments. Lisa remains dedicated to improving patient outcomes through skilled rehabilitation, mentorship, and a lifelong commitment to advancing the field of physical therapy.
