Leisha Fee, RN
Leisha Fee is a dedicated Registered Nurse with more than 21 years of experience delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across a wide range of healthcare settings. Based in Lakeland, Florida, she has built a diverse nursing career spanning postpartum and mother-baby care, acute medical-surgical nursing, hospice, palliative care, patient advocacy, and case management. Throughout her professional journey, Leisha has remained deeply committed to supporting patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments, combining clinical expertise with empathy, leadership, and a servant-hearted approach to care.
Leisha began her nursing career after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Polk State College and has spent much of her career with Lakeland Regional Health-Florida, where she continues to serve today. Her early experience in postpartum and mother-baby care led her to become a certified lactation consultant, allowing her to support new mothers and infants during critical stages of care and recovery. She later expanded her experience into acute medical-surgical nursing, leadership roles, hospice, and palliative care, including work with Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care and AdventHealth. Hospice care remains especially meaningful to her, as she values the opportunity to provide comfort, dignity, and emotional support to patients and families navigating end-of-life care.
In addition to her bedside nursing experience, Leisha has developed expertise in patient advocacy, care coordination, and case management. She works closely with patients to guide care planning, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and ensure continuity of care for individuals with complex medical needs. Her experience managing higher-acuity patients in both physician office and hospital settings has strengthened her passion for helping patients better understand and navigate the healthcare system. Guided by compassion, integrity, and a strong belief in servant leadership, Leisha continues to make a meaningful impact through her commitment to improving the lives of the patients and communities she serves.
