Lauren Ilgenfritz is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at Family Practice Center, P.C., where she provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. With a strong focus on preventative medicine and patient-centered care, she strives to empower individuals and families to achieve optimal health outcomes. Lauren combines clinical expertise with compassion, ensuring her patients feel supported and understood in every aspect of their care.

Lauren began her nursing journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from Augusta University and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Family Practice Nursing from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. She holds licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. Her professional background also includes experience as a registered nurse at Emory Healthcare, where she honed her skills in patient care and clinical practice.

In addition to her clinical work, Lauren has served as a preceptor at Family Practice Center, mentoring new nurses and guiding students in developing their clinical skills. Her approach emphasizes the importance of patient education, health promotion, and fostering strong provider-patient relationships. Lauren’s dedication, knowledge, and passion for nursing continue to positively impact the communities she serves.
