What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I love most about what I'm doing is making a patient see how happy they are about the care that I provide for them, and having them tell me that we need more nurses like me. That feedback means everything to me. It's about knowing that I've made a real difference in their experience and that they feel truly cared for as a person, not a number. When patients express that kind of gratitude and recognition, it validates why I chose this profession and reminds me of the impact compassionate nursing can have on people's lives. That is the reward, not an award, not a gift, but their gratitude.
