Dr. Gregory Montgomery DDS, MSD
Gregory Montgomery is a periodontist based in Silverdale, Washington, who is dedicated to providing advanced periodontal and implant care with a strong emphasis on patient comfort, long-term oral health, and individualized treatment. He is widely recognized for his patient-centered approach, combining clinical precision with a compassionate understanding of each patient’s needs. Dr. Montgomery earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he completed a rigorous academic and clinical curriculum. During his time there, he also met his future wife, who is originally from the Pacific Northwest, establishing a personal connection to the region that would later become his home. Following dental school, Dr. Montgomery practiced general dentistry while pursuing extensive continuing education in implant surgery and restorative dentistry. He completed an implant fellowship and residency, earned Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, and became eligible for Associate Fellow status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry—reflecting his commitment to advanced training and clinical excellence in implant dentistry. Driven by a desire to specialize further, Dr. Montgomery pursued advanced training in the Periodontal and Implant Surgery Residency at the University of Washington. This highly competitive program included three years of full-time clinical and academic education, along with original research on Porphyromonas gingivalis mutants. He ultimately earned both a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry, solidifying his expertise in surgical periodontal care and implant therapy. Today, Dr. Montgomery lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two children. He is proud to serve the Silverdale community, where he combines advanced surgical skill with a compassionate, patient-first philosophy. His work is guided not only by clinical excellence but also by a deep appreciation for family, community, and long-term relationships with the patients he serves.
