Glenn Siegel, LPN
Glenn Siegel is a dedicated healthcare professional who spent 18 years serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in utilization and case management in New York. After completing an intensive LPN training program at Nassau Tech in 1993, Glenn built a reputation for his tireless work ethic, often working numerous shifts while remaining committed to supporting both patients and colleagues. Throughout his career, he became known not only for his clinical expertise, but also for his willingness to mentor fellow nurses and provide practical guidance to help improve patient care and workplace performance.
What set Glenn apart in his nursing career was the deeply personal motivation behind his commitment to caregiving. Inspired by the experience of caring for his oldest son, who was born with severe difficulties, Glenn developed a profound sense of compassion and resilience that shaped his professional philosophy. He often reflected that no amount of professional work compared to the challenges and responsibilities of caring for his son at home. Balancing the demands of nursing with his devotion to family, Glenn consistently demonstrated empathy, patience, and strength, frequently returning home after long shifts to help care for his son and support his wife.
Now retired due to health challenges, including hospitalizations, pneumonia, and a stroke in early 2024, Glenn is focused on his recovery and ongoing medical care, including vascular evaluations and treatment. Despite these obstacles, he continues to maintain a strong interest in healthcare, particularly in neurology and its relationship to autism. Glenn’s life and career reflect a lasting dedication to service, hands-on patient advocacy, and the belief that compassion and personal experience can profoundly influence the quality of care provided to others.
