Fady Hannah-Shmouni, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Fady Hannah-Shmouni, MD, FRCPC, is a board-certified clinical endocrinologist, biochemical geneticist, and physician-scientist specializing in precision medicine, with a focus on hormone biology, peptide therapy, and longevity science. He is the Founder and CEO of Hormonaly.ai, a clinical artificial intelligence platform designed to support evidence-based decision-making in endocrine and longevity medicine. His work bridges clinical practice, biomedical research, and emerging AI technologies to advance patient-centered care at scale.
Dr. Hannah-Shmouni completed his medical degree at the University of Jordan in 2009, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Yale School of Medicine (2012–2015). He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the National Institutes of Health (2015–2017), and later completed a fellowship in Clinical Biochemical Genetics at the University of Toronto (2017–2018). He is dual board-certified by both American and Canadian boards in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Throughout his academic and clinical career, he has held multiple leadership and research roles, including Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia. He also served as Director of the AI Academy at the Geneva College of Longevity Science, where he contributes to education in AI-driven precision medicine and longevity science. His clinical and academic interests include stress physiology, metabolic disease, rare endocrine disorders, and genetic conditions affecting hormone regulation.
In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Hannah-Shmouni is an active researcher with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and extensive NIH-funded work, including an h-index of 28. He has authored multiple books and contributed to advancing knowledge in endocrinology, biochemical genetics, and cardiovascular-related endocrine disorders. His research continues to influence clinical approaches to complex endocrine and genetic diseases worldwide.
As an entrepreneur and physician-investor, Dr. Hannah-Shmouni has founded and advised multiple health technology companies, including DrVibe.ai, Healthspan Digital, and FHS Capital portfolio ventures. Through these initiatives, he focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into clinical workflows and expanding access to evidence-based medicine globally. His mission is to empower clinicians with intelligent tools that enhance precision medicine and improve patient outcomes in endocrinology and beyond.
