Erin McAulay

Erin McAulay is a registered nurse specializing in cardiology and cardiac devices, with a particular focus on the care and management of pacemaker patients. She has been practicing as a registered nurse since May 2020 and currently works in a hospital-based outpatient clinic, providing specialized care within a hospital setting.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage, graduating in 2020. Following her undergraduate education, she pursued additional specialized training through the Arrhythmia Technologies Institute, further strengthening her expertise in cardiac device management and arrhythmia care.

Erin’s path into nursing was shaped by both personal experiences and early influences. After spending time unsure of her career direction, she was inspired by a flyer for a nursing program, along with a family history of nurses and her own experience as a childhood cancer patient, where she was deeply impacted by the care she received. These experiences helped guide her decision to enter the nursing profession.

She attributes her success to a strong work ethic, personal drive, and the support of a collaborative healthcare team. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, Erin also serves as a preceptor, mentoring nursing students and new nurses as they begin their professional journeys in healthcare.
