Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I love most about what I do is that this is not just a career or profession for me - I'm called to do this work. I wake up happy every day. No matter what the case is, whether it's an individual that's 5 years old or 95 years old, who may not want to live or who may not know what their calling is in life, to be that person to be able to bring clarity, and to bring understanding, compassion, and empathy, and love - there's like nothing else better than what I do. I gained a love for what I am called to do because I want people to be well. I want them to thrive. People should feel better after they have left me than before they met me. I tend to heal as I help others heal, and that gives me comfort even through my own grief and challenges.
