Barbara Pritchard

Barbara Pritchard is a dedicated educator and healthcare professional serving her community through her dual roles with the Morehouse Parish School Board and in patient care. Based in Pioneer, Louisiana, she currently works as a resource teacher and science co-teacher at Bastrop High School, where she supports students in grades 7 through 12. Known for her commitment to student growth and encouragement, Barbara brings both academic knowledge and strong leadership skills into the classroom, helping students build confidence and succeed in their educational journeys.
In addition to her work in education, Barbara is a Certified Medication Aide and has extensive experience in healthcare, including her role with CDF Healthcare of Louisiana LLC. With over a decade of service as a Direct Support Professional, she provides essential care to individuals with disabilities, including medication administration, appointment coordination, and daily living assistance. Her ability to balance both teaching and healthcare roles reflects her deep-rooted passion for helping others and her lifelong commitment to caregiving, inspired by her family’s tradition of supporting both the elderly and young people.
Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Business Management with a specialization in Leadership from Ashford University, which strengthens her ability to lead, mentor, and serve effectively across both professions.
