Alexandria Houdeshell

Alexandria Houdeshell is an outpatient therapist at Commonwealth Clinical Group, Inc., bringing a strong foundation in psychology and patient care to her work. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, Alexandria combines evidence-based therapeutic approaches with compassion and creativity to support her clients’ mental and emotional well-being.

Before transitioning to therapy, Alexandria gained extensive experience as a medical assistant at UPMC and Family Practice Center, P.C., where she honed her skills in patient communication, teamwork, and healthcare operations. Her background in medical support provides her with a unique perspective on holistic care, allowing her to address both practical and emotional needs of the individuals she serves.

Outside of her professional work, Alexandria is committed to community engagement and advocacy. She has served as Director of Operations for Pitt Dance Marathon, raising awareness and funds for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and has contributed to scientific research, including genomic studies during her time at the University of Pittsburgh. Alexandria’s approach to therapy reflects her dedication to helping people grow, heal, and thrive through both evidence-based practices and heartfelt support.
