Dr. Ahmed Baig, Medical Director of Neuroscience

Ahmed Baig is a physician leader and clinical research professional specializing in neuroscience and central nervous system (CNS) drug development. Currently serving as Medical Director of Neuroscience at Premier Research, he is dedicated to advancing innovative therapies that improve outcomes for patients with complex neurologic and psychiatric conditions. Based in St. Louis, Baig brings a strong combination of clinical expertise, medical oversight, and strategic leadership to the rapidly evolving field of neuroscience research.

Throughout his career, Ahmed Baig has contributed to more than 90 Phase II and III clinical trials focused on mood disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other CNS conditions. His experience spans psychiatric assessment, medical monitoring, safety oversight, and collaboration across multidisciplinary clinical development teams. Prior to joining Premier Research, he served as Chief Medical Officer at Midwest Research Group, where he played a key role in guiding clinical research initiatives and supporting the development of emerging therapies for patients with unmet mental health needs.
