Anne H. Getty, MSN, PMHNP-BC, CCHP

Anne H. Getty, MSN, PMHNP-BC, CCHP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 23 years of nursing experience, including extensive work in psychiatry, emergency medicine, trauma care, and correctional health. She is recognized for her clinical expertise in high-acuity settings, trauma-informed approach, and commitment to compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. She is based in Vail, Arizona, and provides mental health services across crisis, inpatient, outpatient, and correctional environments.

She has completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialty at Eastern Kentucky University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2003, building a strong clinical foundation across multiple specialties in acute and complex care settings.

Her psychiatric experience includes working at the Connections Health Solutions Crisis Response Center, where she provides psychiatric assessments, suicide risk evaluations, mental status examinations, and acute crisis stabilization. She also works in outpatient behavioral health at Palo Verde Behavioral Health, supporting psychiatric intake evaluations and medication management coordination within multidisciplinary teams. She previously served in leadership roles with NaphCare at Pima County Jail, overseeing care delivery for individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and complex behavioral needs in a correctional setting.

Her extensive emergency and trauma background includes over a decade at Banner University Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, where she managed critically ill and trauma patients, performed rapid triage, and supported clinical education and mentorship of nursing staff. She also served as an RN Manager for Prehospital Services, overseeing EMS coordination, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical operations for large provider systems. Additionally, her experience as a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) demonstrates her ability to provide advanced critical care in high-pressure aeromedical transport environments.
