Kelly Smothers, LPC, ICADC, SAP is a licensed professional counselor and certified addiction specialist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2015 and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho in 2010. Drawing from over two decades of experience in behavioral health, Kelly has established herself as a trusted clinician, educator, and advocate for compassionate, evidence-based care.
She is the owner and key principal of Kimi Recovery Center LLC, a practice she has successfully led for eight years. The center, named in honor of a friend who lost her battle with cancer, was founded in 2017 and provides comprehensive outpatient mental health and substance abuse services. Kimi Recovery Center offers Intensive Outpatient Treatment, standard outpatient therapy, drug and alcohol assessments, and Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments, all delivered with a client-centered approach designed to foster lasting recovery and emotional well-being.
Under Kelly’s leadership, Kimi Recovery Center has become a respected name within the Outpatient Care Centers and Ambulatory Health Care Services sectors, serving the broader Health Care and Social Assistance community. Her work reflects a steadfast belief in the power of personalized treatment, community engagement, and holistic healing, and she continues to inspire both clients and colleagues through her dedication to recovery-focused care.
