Yvette Dawood, BA, RDCS

Yvette Dawood, BA, RDCS, is a highly experienced Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with over 15 years of clinical practice and more than a decade in cardiovascular imaging research. She has honed her expertise in advanced transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), stress echocardiography, 3D/4D imaging, and speckle-tracking strain analysis. Throughout her career, Yvette has worked at leading academic medical centers and core labs, where she has led quality control, reproducibility testing, and protocol-driven analyses for multicenter trials, ensuring that imaging standards meet the highest clinical and research benchmarks.

In addition to her technical skills, Yvette is a certified Arabic/English medical interpreter, allowing her to provide culturally competent care for patients with limited English proficiency. Her passion for education and mentorship is evident through her adjunct teaching roles, where she guides sonographers, cardiology fellows, and medical students, helping them translate theory into clinical excellence.
