• I am passionate about serving both my local community and the broader healthcare population through advocacy and service. I have participated in community-based initiatives such as meal trains and support efforts for families navigating illness and hardship. In addition, I use my platform to raise awareness around mental health, trauma, addiction, and suicide prevention—areas that are often stigmatized but deeply impact patient outcomes. I am committed to supporting individuals who may not always have access to resources, ensuring they feel educated, empowered, and supported in their health journey. Through engagement with organizations focused on cancer prevention and patient education, I continue to contribute to initiatives that promote resilience, early intervention, and whole-person care.

I contribute educational content focused on mental health awareness, trauma recovery, addiction education, and suicide prevention through digital platforms and community engagement initiatives. My writing emphasizes patient advocacy, resilience, and stigma reduction, with the goal of making complex health topics accessible and empowering to diverse audiences.

Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to care for patients both clinically and emotionally. In outpatient and surgical settings, patients are often anxious, vulnerable, and navigating complex therapies. I take pride in not only delivering safe, precise clinical care, but also ensuring they feel informed, heard, and supported.

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that healing is not just physical — it’s deeply connected to mental and emotional well-being. That realization inspired me to expand my impact beyond the clinical setting through education and advocacy around trauma, addiction, and suicide prevention. Whether at the bedside or through community outreach, my greatest fulfillment comes from helping patients feel empowered, resilient, and less alone in their healthcare journey.
