William Galilei, DNP, APRN-CNP is a highly accomplished healthcare leader, nurse practitioner, and educator based in Columbus, Ohio. With over a decade of experience in emergency, hospital, family, and community medicine, he has built a diverse clinical background. His expertise is complemented by demonstrated leadership in organizational governance, advanced practice training, and quality improvement initiatives, reflecting a dedication to patient-centered care and professional excellence. Dr. Galilei earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University in 2020, following a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Galilei also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Franklin University, earned in 2013. His extensive education is augmented by certifications including board certification in emergency nursing, board certification as a family nurse practitioner, in evidence-based practice, and etc. He has also completed training and education in Health Law with a focus in Nursing and Medical consulting. Throughout his career, Dr. Galilei has held pivotal roles in both clinical and academic settings. He currently serves as a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Optum Services, INC. He has previously held leadership, advanced practice, or academic positions at DispatchHealth, The Ohio State University, and Immediate Health Associates INC. He has contributed to nursing education as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor at The Ohio State University, guiding undergraduate and graduate nursing students in the classroom/lecture hall, as well as lab, simulation, and clinical environments while advancing interprofessional collaboration through innovative programs.
