Dr. Virginia Hyannis Lee, DACM, LAc, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), CMLDT, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine dedicated to helping patients achieve their happiest, healthiest lives through natural and evidence-based healing. As the founder of Dr. Lee AcuSuccess, she is known for her compassionate approach, comprehensive treatment style, and the life-changing results she frequently helps patients achieve—even for those who have struggled to find relief elsewhere. Her work blends ancient healing wisdom with modern research, creating personalized care that honors both the body and mind.

Dr. Lee is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist, a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, and a respected educator in the integrative health space. She has taught Integrative Health Classes and Acupressure Workshops at UC Berkeley, and she serves as a regular guest lecturer for UCLA’s Department of Medicine, where she shares evidence-based acupuncture research and integrative medicine principles with future healthcare professionals. Her clinical expertise covers a wide spectrum including pain management, neurological conditions, acute and chronic illnesses, emotional wellness, cosmetic acupuncture, herbal pharmacology, and Eastern nutrition.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Lee has earned numerous specialized certifications and continuously integrates new, research-supported techniques into her clinical practice. Her background in Psychology from UC Berkeley strengthens her holistic approach, allowing her to create treatments that support not only physical healing but also emotional balance and mental well-being. She believes that “everything is interconnected,” and this philosophy is reflected in every patient-centered plan she designs—each one aimed at addressing root causes and restoring full quality of life.

Beyond her clinical and academic work, Dr. Lee is deeply committed to service. She volunteers with UCLA’s educational outreach initiatives, supports underserved children in Mexico in gaining access to quality education, and contributes to Rally4Reilly, a charity dedicated to patients with spinal cord injuries. Guided by the principle of “Food as medicine,” she also enjoys creating healthy recipes inspired by Eastern nutritional philosophy. Through her practice, teaching, volunteerism, and continuous innovation, Dr. Lee remains devoted to transforming lives and advancing the future of integrative, holistic healthcare.
