Dr. Vimal I. Nanavati (Dr. V) is a respected Interventional Cardiologist and Chief Medical Officer at Advanced Heart Care, Inc. in San Diego, California. With over three decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine, he has devoted his career to improving both the quality and longevity of patients’ lives. A proud graduate of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and fellowship-trained at the University of Illinois Chicago, Dr. Nanavati combines deep clinical expertise with a personal mission to “save not only a life, but also lifestyle.”

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Nanavati is an influential leader in the California Medical Association, where he currently serves as Chair of CalPAC and Immediate Past Chair of the Organized Medical Staff Section (OMSS). He also holds teaching appointments as a Clinical Associate Professor at UC Irvine School of Medicine and Midwestern University, where he mentors the next generation of physicians in interventional and structural cardiology.
