Tina Goldstein, RN, BSN, CRT
Tina Goldstein is a registered nurse with 39 years of extensive experience across multiple areas of healthcare, including emergency trauma, home health care, psychiatric care, and assisted living. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Florida Atlantic University and is also a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), having completed her training at the College of Boca Raton, now known as Lynn University. Her career began in respiratory therapy during the 1980s, where she gained early hands-on clinical experience while supporting herself through nursing school.
Throughout her professional journey, Tina has worked in high-acuity and specialized environments, including emergency room trauma care, which she considers one of her most impactful roles. She also provided care during significant public health challenges, including the AIDS epidemic and the COVID-19 pandemic. Her broad clinical background has strengthened her adaptability and deepened her commitment to delivering quality patient care in both acute and long-term settings.
For the past 18 years, Tina has been affiliated with a home care agency, where she has served in a wide range of roles including direct patient care, sales, and marketing. In recent years, she has advanced into leadership positions, managing teams of nurses and overseeing multiple assisted living facilities, including those serving psychiatric patient populations. Her leadership focuses on coordinating care delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of patient support across facilities.
In addition to her nursing career, Tina is also a successful entrepreneur and the owner of Wasteline Solutions, a waste disposal company that services approximately 80% of cruise lines at Florida ports. Her ability to balance healthcare leadership with business ownership reflects her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and commitment to service across multiple industries.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
ER trauma has been the most rewarding and fulfilling aspect of my nursing career. I have always been drawn to the fast-paced, high-acuity environment where critical decisions are made quickly and patient outcomes depend on immediate, skilled intervention. While it is a role I deeply loved, I have also come to understand that working in that capacity is not something that can be sustained indefinitely over a lifetime.
