Taytum Knox, RN, is a dedicated nurse supervisor at Upward Health, where she oversees nursing operations, mentors new clinicians, and ensures that patient-centered care remains at the heart of the organization. With five years of diverse nursing experience, she combines disciplined clinical knowledge with a passion for education, fostering strong, collaborative teams and supporting high-quality patient outcomes. Her leadership emphasizes both staff satisfaction and organizational excellence, reflecting her commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery on multiple levels.

A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, Taytum’s interest in healthcare was shaped early by her love of anatomy, biology, and public service, as well as personal experiences within healthcare settings. Her clinical journey began on a medical-surgical unit that transitioned to a COVID-specific floor during the 2020 pandemic, deepening her commitment to patient advocacy and expanding her clinical expertise. She later worked in peritoneal dialysis with DaVita, where she discovered a talent for teaching and mentoring patients and colleagues alike, reinforcing her passion for education and leadership.

Outside of her professional life, Taytum values creativity, balance, and community involvement. She enjoys crocheting, reading, and long walks, and she looks forward to mentoring youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also plans to pursue advanced leadership coursework and a master’s degree in healthcare administration, reflecting her ongoing commitment to personal growth, service, and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.
