Dr. Tawain Jones is a healthcare and laboratory professional whose career bridges clinical science, chiropractic medicine, and academic instruction. With experience spanning patient care, laboratory operations, and higher education, she brings a multidisciplinary approach centered on accuracy, systems thinking, and improving outcomes across healthcare and technical environments. Her professional journey reflects a consistent focus on integrating scientific knowledge with practical, patient-centered application.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with a concentration in Medical Technology from Eastern Michigan University, followed by her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Her early ambition was to become a medical doctor, but her path shifted following a personal experience with a herniated disc. After traditional medical treatment provided limited relief, chiropractic care restored her mobility and allowed her to return to dancing—an experience that became a defining moment and ultimately inspired her transition into chiropractic medicine.

Dr. Jones launched her chiropractic practice in 2019, shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the practice was operational for approximately six months, it was significantly impacted by shelter-in-place restrictions that limited in-person patient engagement and screenings. Despite this setback, she remained committed to healthcare and adapted her career path by transitioning into laboratory science, where she continues to apply her clinical training in a new setting.

Currently, Dr. Jones works as a Process Laboratory Technician, where she performs analytical testing on approximately 200 chemical processes ranging from non-hazardous to hazardous materials used in industrial applications. Her work supports quality control and operational efficiency in metal plating processes for aerospace components. In this role, she leverages her expertise in clinical laboratory science to ensure accuracy, reduce waste, and maintain consistent system performance. She also brings prior academic experience as an adjunct professor of anatomy and physiology at both Chattahoochee Technical College and Georgia State Perimeter College, where she educated future healthcare professionals.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jones has remained committed to growth, adaptability, and leadership development. She is currently pursuing relicensure in chiropractic medicine while also expressing interest in advancing into clinical management or healthcare leadership roles. Her diverse background in education, laboratory science, and patient care positions her to contribute to both operational excellence and team development within healthcare systems, with a long-term focus on improving integrated care delivery.
