Tasia Smith, LCSW-C
Tasia Smith, LMSW, is a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Chesapeake Health Care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Salisbury University, equipping her with a strong foundation in clinical practice and behavioral health. Her academic training has prepared her to provide evidence-based interventions that promote mental wellness across diverse populations.
In her current role, Tasia specializes in school-based mental health services, working closely with children ages 5–16 at Pocomoke Elementary and Middle School. She provides individual and group therapy, helping students develop coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience. Her work emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where children and adolescents can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Tasia is passionate about supporting children and their families in navigating life’s challenges. Her areas of expertise include child and adolescent mental health, psychosocial support, crisis intervention, and community mental health services.
