Tamar Solomon, OT

Tamar Solomon is a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children across a range of developmental, emotional, and psychiatric conditions. Currently practicing at East LLC and contracting with Kid Clan Services, Inc., she specializes in applying sensory-based strategies to help children engage successfully in meaningful activities. Tamar is trained in evidence-based approaches, including Handwriting Without Tears, Astronaut Training, S'cool Moves, and Reflex Integration, and she is committed to providing the highest standard of care to the children and families she serves.

In addition to her clinical work, Tamar is passionate about mentoring and guiding the next generation of occupational therapists. She enjoys supervising OT students, sharing her expertise, and fostering professional growth in emerging therapists. Her approach emphasizes individualized care, collaboration with families, and the application of best practices to support children in reaching their full potential in school and community environments.

Tamar holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Chatham University and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Dominican University New York. Her extensive experience spans school-based therapy, acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient services, reflecting her versatility and deep commitment to pediatric occupational therapy.
