Stephanie June Steele, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Sports Psychology Specialist dedicated to helping adults and adolescents build resilience, overcome anxiety, and unlock their full potential. She provides individualized, evidence-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families, offering a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and a Certificate in Conflict Management from Regis University in 2015, where she first developed a passion for emotional insight and effective communication. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University in 2022. Committed to lifelong learning and advanced specialization, she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology at University of Arizona, focusing on mental wellness, resilience, and performance enhancement for athletes and high-achievers.

Her clinical work addresses anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship challenges, identity development, life transitions, and performance barriers. With training in trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, and mental skills coaching, Stephanie integrates mental health counseling with performance psychology to deliver a holistic approach tailored to each client’s goals. She works with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels, helping them navigate competition stress, injury recovery, burnout, transitions, and identity beyond sport.

Stephanie’s therapeutic style is warm, authentic, and client-centered. She believes in the power of a strong therapeutic alliance and uses practical, proven techniques to foster meaningful change. While her personal Catholic faith informs her values of compassion and integrity, her practice is fully inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all spiritual, cultural, and personal backgrounds. Her priority is ensuring every client feels comfortable, understood, and supported throughout their healing and growth journey.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is helping my patients achieve a better quality of life. I find it deeply rewarding to support them in improving their health, comfort, and overall well-being, and to play a meaningful role in helping them live fuller, healthier lives.
