Sonya Dempsey, PMHNP-BC

Sonya Dempsey is a dedicated Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Art of Mental Wellness, where she provides compassionate, patient-centered mental health care to individuals across the Tri-Cities area of Washington. With a strong background in both medical and behavioral health settings, Sonya brings a holistic and thoughtful approach to supporting patients through their mental wellness journeys. Her clinical experience spans home health, senior living, hospital care, and outpatient psychiatric services, allowing her to meet patients where they are with empathy and expertise.

Sonya earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University after completing her Associate of Arts and Sciences in Registered Nursing at Walla Walla Community College. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to continuous learning and professional growth. In addition to her work in psychiatric care, she has spent years serving diverse populations through roles at Lourdes Hospital, Brookdale Senior Living, and Total Care Home Health, gaining extensive experience in health promotion and patient advocacy.
