Sharon Harper-Norris, RN, Eden Certified, is an accomplished nursing professional with expertise in geriatric care, long-term care, and behavioral and mental health. Since beginning her career in 2015, she has advanced from Certified Nursing Assistant to Director of Nursing at Vivage Beecan in Colorado Springs, Colorado, demonstrating exceptional clinical leadership, staff mentorship, and patient-centered care. Recognized for her dedication to quality and excellence, Sharon was a finalist for Director of Nursing of the Year in 2025.
A lifelong advocate for nursing, Sharon comes from a family of nurses and has aspired to the profession since childhood. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Concorde Career College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. Her credentials include Eden Certification, highlighting her commitment to enhancing care for older adults and residents with complex needs.

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is connecting with my patients and understanding their unique stories—there’s always more than meets the eye. I also value the constant learning the field offers, with new treatments and medications emerging regularly, which keeps every day both challenging and rewarding.
