Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

My most enjoyable position was working as a case manager for the combat injured active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton in California. All my guys had PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. They were just delightful, though. Despite the challenges these service members faced, I found tremendous fulfillment in caring for them and advocating for their needs. Working with this military population, especially after my own service in the Air Force, allowed me to connect with them on a deeper level and truly make a difference in their recovery and care.
