Sharae Inman, PA-C

Physician Assistant
Physician Assistant
Ortho Sport and Spine Physicians
Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Sharae began her medical career in 2009 as a Radiologic Technologist, where she developed extensive experience in spinal, orthopedic, and oncology imaging. Working closely with patients experiencing chronic pain and debilitating conditions sparked her passion for helping individuals who often struggle to find effective treatment and validation within traditional medical systems.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Mental Health and Addiction Rehabilitation from the University of North Texas, graduating Magna Cum Laude, before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Southern California University of Health Sciences.

Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for taking an innovative and comprehensive approach to pain management, combining evidence-based conventional medicine with emerging therapies, interventional procedures, functional medicine strategies, and lifestyle-based treatment plans. Her goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to identify and address the root causes of chronic disease and dysfunction.

Sharae is particularly passionate about advocating for patients whose symptoms are often dismissed or misunderstood. She frequently treats individuals who have been previously labeled as “drug seeking” or whose pain has been attributed solely to psychological causes. Through individualized care plans and close patient collaboration, she has successfully helped many patients reduce opioid dependence, restore mobility, and regain meaningful functional independence.

Beyond her clinical work, Sharae remains actively engaged in community service, volunteering with organizations that support individuals with special needs and those recovering from addiction. She also participates in charitable initiatives through the Elks organization, reflecting her ongoing commitment to improving community health and well-being.

Combining clinical expertise, innovative treatment strategies, and deep empathy for her patients’ experiences, Sharae Inman continues to advocate for a more comprehensive, compassionate, and effective model of pain care—one that treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is advocating for patients who may feel overlooked or misunderstood. Many of the individuals I treat have struggled with chronic pain for years and often feel their symptoms have been dismissed. Being able to listen, support them, and develop a thoughtful plan that improves their function and quality of life is incredibly rewarding. I especially enjoy seeing patients regain strength, return to activities they love, and experience more joy in their daily lives. Integrating conservative treatments, functional medicine approaches, and lifestyle strategies allows me to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Helping patients safely manage pain while also guiding those with addiction challenges toward healthier, more stable lives is one of the most meaningful aspects of my work.
