Shanette Mcbride, CNA

Shanette McBride is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 33 years of experience in nursing and mental health. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through the program at Alameda County Medical Center, where she developed a deep understanding of patient care and the critical role of compassion in healthcare. Over the years, Shanette expanded her expertise to include mental health specialization, adolescent counseling, and alcohol and drug counseling, making her a versatile and empathetic practitioner who has positively impacted countless patients.

Throughout her career, Shanette served at Alameda Health System for more than three decades and contributed to Telecare corporations for many years, gaining extensive experience across both inpatient and community-based care settings. She is known for her hands-on approach and personal attention to patients, often going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being. Whether mentoring colleagues, providing guidance to patients, or creating a nurturing environment, Shanette’s dedication to holistic care has defined her professional journey.

Outside of her work in healthcare, Shanette is deeply committed to community service, with a particular passion for supporting the homeless. She envisions creating a day shelter to provide meals, showers, and essential resources for those in need.
