Shalonda Young is an accomplished Director of Nursing with extensive experience leading clinical operations, elevating care quality, and driving organizational performance within long-term care and senior living environments. Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she currently oversees nursing operations at Meth-Wick, where she has spent more than four years implementing high-impact strategies that strengthen compliance, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Her leadership is rooted in a commitment to accountability, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative culture that empowers teams and enhances resident outcomes.

Throughout her career, Shalonda has advanced through progressive roles in nursing leadership, including Restorative Nurse, Nurse Manager, RN Supervisor, and LPN Supervisor. She has a proven track record of designing and managing programs that improve safety, reduce risk, optimize workflow, and elevate regulatory readiness.
