Dr. Sebastian L. Partesotti is the Assistant Chief of Anesthesiology, bringing extensive experience in perioperative care, pain management, and critical care to his patients. He is recognized for his clinical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to ensuring safe, high-quality anesthesia care.

He earned his MD from the University of Texas – Houston in 2006 and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois in 2010, followed by a fellowship at the University of Illinois–Chicago in 2011. His advanced training has equipped him to manage complex surgical cases and provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of specialties.

Dr. Partesotti is board certified in Anesthesiology and maintains active membership with the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Louisiana Society of Anesthesiology. He is fluent in English and is known for his patient-centered approach, emphasizing safety, comfort, and effective communication throughout the surgical experience.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Partesotti contributes to the field through research, publications, and professional education. He is dedicated to mentoring young anesthesiologists, advancing clinical standards, and participating in community health initiatives that promote safe surgical care and pain management.
