Sara M. Mirsky, MSW
Sara M. Mirsky, MSW, is a compassionate and dedicated pre-licensed psychotherapist with a strong passion for mental health. Currently serving as a Hospice Social Worker at VITAS Healthcare in Rockledge, Florida, she works closely with patients and their families, providing emotional support throughout the process of dying and offering bereavement guidance after a loved one passes. Sara is committed to encouraging self-care for caregivers and supporting families in navigating the challenges of caregiving and loss with empathy and understanding.
Sara’s clinical expertise is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Skills, Motivational Interviewing, and psychotherapy. She has extensive experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and advocating for patient needs. Her professional journey also includes roles with Space Coast Health Centers, Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation, and AmeriCorps Survivor Link, where she received specialized training in intimate partner violence advocacy and community education.
Sara holds both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master’s of Social Work Advanced Standing degree from the University of Central Florida, graduating with honors and actively participating in the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society. Her dedication to mental health, combined with her clinical knowledge and empathetic approach, drives her mission to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves, helping individuals and families navigate challenging moments with care and dignity.
