Over the years, she has gained experience across multiple leading institutions, including Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Rosine contributes to both research and education within the pathology field. She assists in collecting and preparing tissue samples for clinical studies and works closely with pathology residents and students, helping train the next generation of professionals in specimen grossing and diagnostic processes. Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I've always had a strong interest in learning the body and how it works, and just being able to be a part of helping people get better in general. It's such a rewarding feeling to be able to know that I'm part of this process of patient care, and because of the work that I do, patients are getting the treatment they need in order to survive cancer or survive other types of diseases. What drew me to pathology specifically is seeing the different types of specimens - like a liver, or a heart, or lung - in front of me and thinking, wow, this came out of a person. Some of these patients are able to live without it, or they get a transplant, and seeing that just kind of inspired me. I wanted to get into this and learn more about the different organs that work together in a human body that makes us function and live.
