Rose Johnston, RDH, BSDH

Rose Johnston, RDH, BSDH, is a dedicated registered dental hygienist with more than eight years of clinical experience and a passion for elevating patient care within the dental industry. Currently practicing at Newton Dental Associates in Massachusetts, Rose has developed a reputation for her gentle, thorough approach and her ability to build strong, trusting relationships with patients. A graduate of Mount Ida College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, she was recognized on the Dean’s List for her academic excellence and active involvement in student organizations such as the Pre-Med Club, Dance Team, and Step Team.

Throughout her career, Rose has gained a diverse range of experience, from private practice and group clinics to traveling dental hygiene work. Her professional journey has taken her from Danforth Dental and Paget Dental Group to roles with Stynt and Tend, where she refined her skills in communication, patient education, and preventive care. These experiences have shaped her commitment to not only providing exceptional hygiene services but also advocating for innovation and positive change within the dental field—improving the experience for both patients and professionals alike.

Beyond her clinical work, Rose approaches her career with a deep sense of gratitude and determination. She often reflects on her roots and the value of perseverance, crediting her success to seizing opportunities and never letting them pass by. Guided by the belief that “logic will get you from A to B, but imagination will take you everywhere,” she strives to blend technical skill with creativity and compassion in everything she does. Outside of the dental chair, Rose enjoys expressing herself through cooking, staying active, and connecting with others who share her enthusiasm for growth and purpose.
