Robin Sharp-Beckham, BSN, RN

Robin Sharp-Beckham, BSN, RN, is a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse with over a decade of experience in patient care. Beginning her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later working for 10 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Robin built a strong clinical foundation before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University. She further honed her nursing skills through her education at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, shaping a well-rounded and hands-on approach to care that continues to define her work today.

Currently serving as a Registered Nurse at the Kentucky Bariatric Institute, Robin specializes in bariatric and weight loss care, supporting patients throughout every stage of their journey. She provides education on GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy and Zepbound, guiding patients through proper injection techniques and helping them navigate complex insurance prior authorizations. Her role extends to comprehensive post-operative care, including managing patients recovering from weight loss surgery, hernia repairs, and fundoplication procedures for hiatal hernias. Robin is known for her responsiveness and attention to detail, handling post-operative calls, addressing complications, coordinating medication needs, and ensuring patients feel supported during recovery.

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Robin is committed to serving patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. As a member of the American Nurses Association, she stays connected to best practices and ongoing developments in the field. Whether educating patients, collaborating with providers, or offering reassurance during recovery, Robin brings empathy, expertise, and a deep sense of purpose to every aspect of her work.
