Dr. Rhys W. Irvine, MD is a board-certified pediatric urologist and Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee, where he has served since 2017. He specializes in treating infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of urologic conditions, including urinary tract disorders, hypospadias, testicular torsion, and complex reconstructive procedures. Dr. Irvine is recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive and robotic pediatric urology, providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Irvine serves as Chief of Surgery at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, a position he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he oversees surgical programs, mentors junior physicians, and ensures that the highest standards of pediatric surgical care are maintained.
