Dr. Reid Amedee is a dedicated chiropractor and founder of Legacy Spine Care in The Woodlands, Texas. With a patient-first philosophy and a warm, compassionate approach, he is committed to helping individuals achieve long-term relief, improved mobility, and optimal well-being. Dr. Amedee believes in a multidisciplinary model of healthcare, ensuring his patients receive the most effective, evidence-based treatments tailored to their individual needs.

A native of Houma, Louisiana, Dr. Amedee earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from Nicholls State University before graduating as valedictorian from Texas Chiropractic College in 2010. He began his career in Louisiana, gaining valuable clinical experience at St. Joseph Medical Clinic in Vacherie and the Flynn Clinic of Chiropractic in Houma, where he worked alongside Dr. Mike Flynn, former President of the World Federation of Chiropractic. In 2013, he relocated to Texas to join Houston Spine and Rehabilitation Centers, where he served patients for over a decade and honed his skills across a wide range of chiropractic and rehabilitative treatments.

In 2025, Dr. Amedee fulfilled his long-time vision of opening Legacy Spine Care, a practice built on integrity, compassion, and clinical excellence. Dedicated to continuous learning, he holds advanced training and certifications in the Graston Technique™, Kinesio Taping™, and Activator Technique, and is an active member of the Texas Chiropractic Association. Through his patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Amedee continues to make a meaningful impact—treating every patient with the same level of care and respect he would expect for himself and his family.

Originally from Houma, Louisiana, Dr. Amedee earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Science from Nicholls State University before graduating as valedictorian from Texas Chiropractic College in 2010. Following his graduation, he returned to Louisiana to gain valuable experience in a multidisciplinary practice in Vacherie. During this time, he also had the honor of working alongside Dr. Mike Flynn, former President of the World Federation of Chiropractic, in Houma.

Since relocating to Texas in 2013, Dr. Amedee has been proudly serving patients in The Woodlands, where he has spent more than 15 years refining his expertise in chiropractic care. Dedicated to professional growth, he has completed advanced training and certifications in the Graston Technique™, Kinesio Taping™, and Activator Technique, and is an active member of the Texas Chiropractic Association. In 2025, Dr. Amedee realized his vision of opening Legacy Spine Care, a practice built on the principles of compassion, excellence, and integrity.
