Dr. Ra’Kedra Ford, DNP, FNP-C, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at Piedmont Urgent Care, where she provides comprehensive and patient-centered care to individuals and families. With a strong commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive healthcare environment, she ensures that each patient receives personalized attention and quality medical care. Her expertise spans primary care, medical-surgical nursing, and specialty areas such as telemetry and kidney transplant care.

Dr. Ford earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Baylor University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College. Recognized as a Young Alumna Honoree by Mississippi College School of Nursing, she has been celebrated for her outstanding contributions to the nursing profession. Her educational background, combined with years of hands-on clinical experience, allows her to deliver evidence-based care while mentoring and inspiring future healthcare professionals.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Ford served as a Registered Nurse at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and worked as a travel nurse with ProLink Staffing, gaining diverse clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring new culinary experiences, traveling, and spending quality time with her boyfriend.
