Rayni Payne, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, MEDSURG-BC

Rayni Payne, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Surgery at Boone Health. With a career that began as a CNA, Rayni has grown through every level of nursing, bringing over seven years of experience across a variety of clinical settings, including Medical-Surgical, ICU, Progressive Care and the Operating Room. She currently practices in the General Surgery clinic, sees patients, and serves as First Assist in the OR, demonstrating her deep commitment to patient care and surgical excellence. Rayni earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from Purdue University in 2024, building on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia College and her earlier credentials as a CNA, LPN, and RN from Moberly Area Community College. Along the way, she also earned Medical-Surgical certification and gained extensive critical care experience in the ICU and PCU at Boone Hospital Center, where she also serves as a PRN House Supervisor. Her professional journey reflects a dedication to lifelong learning and a passion for patient-centered care. Outside of her career, Rayni is a devoted mother of three young children. She balances her professional responsibilities with family life and enjoys outdoor activities, including hunting and reading. Rayni’s commitment to nursing and her patients is matched by her dedication to creating meaningful time with her family, exemplifying a balance of professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
