What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is seeing my patients recover and regain their quality of life. This is especially meaningful when caring for very ill patients with cirrhosis, who often have a limited life expectancy. When the underlying cause is reversible or a liver transplant is successful, I am able to help patients return to normal health, resume work, and enjoy everyday activities again, which is the most rewarding part of my work.
