Rachel Gaglio, LPC (MO), NCC
Rachel also serves as an Adjunct Professor and the Assistant Director of University Student Support at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. In these roles, she provides academic coaching, guidance, and mentoring for students, particularly within multicultural student services. Her teaching and leadership experience allow her to bridge clinical practice with education, preparing the next generation of counselors with practical and research-informed insights.
She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (expected 2026) and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Rachel has received multiple academic honors, including the Outstanding Doctoral Student Award (2023) and the Outstanding Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Award (2019). She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), with extensive experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, and trauma-informed care.
Outside of her professional work, Rachel enjoys practicing yoga, walking, biking, and kayaking, activities that help her maintain balance and well-being. She is deeply committed to fostering empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all her interactions, ensuring that clients feel safe, understood, and supported. Through her clinical, academic, and community work, Rachel continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals, families, and students.
