Quanya Chandler, MA, ADC, I-P

Quanya Chandler is a dedicated mental health professional and human services leader based in Lexington County, South Carolina. With more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families, she has built a career centered on empowering others through compassionate care, education, and practical life guidance. Currently serving as a Clinical Counselor at Counseling Services of Lancaster, Quanya works with clients of all ages, facilitating group counseling sessions for both adults and teens while helping individuals better understand the motivations behind their behaviors and choices.

Quanya holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Claflin University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University. She is currently working toward full professional licensure and has developed a strong reputation for her action-oriented counseling approach. Specializing in Choice Therapy and Reality Therapy, frameworks developed by William Glasser, Quanya helps clients identify their needs, clarify their goals, and take realistic steps toward meaningful change. Her philosophy emphasizes personal responsibility, growth, and the belief that individuals can shape their futures through intentional decisions.

Before transitioning fully into counseling, Quanya spent more than ten years with the Babcock Center as a Coordinator, where she played a vital role in developing programs, supporting staff development, and creating community resources for individuals with disabilities. She also spent several years as an independent travel agent with InteleTravel, reflecting her passion for connecting people with enriching experiences. Throughout her career, Quanya has remained committed to service, community outreach, and helping others build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
