Pier Mangieri is a highly accomplished Respiratory Therapist and ECMO Specialist with over 25 years of experience in critical care medicine. Currently serving with SpecialtyCare, Pier is recognized for his deep clinical expertise in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy, and adult critical care.

Pier began his career in respiratory care in the mid-1990s and spent more than two decades at Indian River Medical Center (IRMC), where he became the first respiratory therapist on the Treasure Coast to earn the Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care. This achievement reflects his commitment to excellence and his pioneering role in advancing respiratory therapy standards in his region.

Throughout his career, Pier has played an essential role in training clinical staff, developing advanced respiratory protocols, and delivering life-saving cardiovascular and pulmonary support for critically ill patients. His recent transition to SpecialtyCare allows him to continue his passion for clinical excellence and patient-centered innovation on a national level, while collaborating with ECMO teams dedicated to advancing outcomes in complex critical care cases.
