Peter Deutsch, MA, LADC, MAC, is a dedicated substance use and mental health counselor with extensive experience in both individual and group therapy. He currently provides counseling at Connecticut Valley Addiction Recovery Inc., helping clients navigate substance use challenges, trauma, and co-occurring mental health issues. His approach emphasizes evidence-based strategies, compassionate support, and practical tools for recovery, empowering clients to achieve long-term wellness.
With a Master of Arts in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling from Antioch University New England, Peter has built a strong foundation in clinical assessment, therapeutic interventions, and program management. Over his career, he has held roles including Clinical Case Manager, Co-Occurring Treatment Court Clinician, and Outpatient Counselor, where he has facilitated group sessions, provided individual therapy, conducted intake assessments, and supported clients through complex behavioral and substance-related challenges.
